Farnham and Bordon MP Gregory Stafford held a virtual meeting with representatives from Openreach this week, the latest meeting as a part of his efforts and wider campaign to improve broadband access and connectivity for his constituents.
Further to his recent survey on connectivity, Gregory will be working with Openreach and other wholesalers to address the needs of those in the hard to reach areas in his constituency who are still without reliable and fast access to the internet.
Having joined the former Shadow Science Secretary before the 2024 Autumn Budget in calling on the Government to commit to the £5bn allocated under the Conservatives for Project Gigabit, Gregory has since been working directly with constituents and companies to address specific cases.
Representatives from Openreach will be joining Gregory in his constituency in the coming months to speak further about the real-time roll out of new infrastructure.
