Bus service changes in Surrey and Hampshire

From 8th June 2025, several changes will come into effect across our local bus network. Thanks to ongoing collaboration between local authorities and transport providers - and with funding from the Bus Service Improvement Plan - a number of positive updates have been secured for Farnham, Bordon, Haslemere, Hindhead, and nearby villages.

As the local MP, Gregory Stafford has been in regular contact with Stagecoach, Surrey County Council and Hampshire County Council to make sure that residents across our towns and villages are properly served by public transport.

The most recent Bordon Taskforce meeting saw Gregory pressing for swift improvements to local bus links - particularly on the 13 and 18 routes - to better connect our communities and support those who rely on buses for work, school and essential services.

Below is a summary of the key changes affecting our constituency:

Some less-used stops and services have been reconfigured to allow more frequent, reliable routes where demand is higher. If you have feedback on local transport, Gregory wants to hear from you. He’ll continue to work with operators and councils to secure further improvements in the months ahead.
