After the Government announced that it is withdrawing funding for the scheme known as Apprenticeship Support Knowledge (ASK), Gregory has been in discussion with local apprenticeship providers and careers advisors who have raised significant concerns.
Gregory tabled a string of questions to the Government in Parliament, which cited a growing awareness towards apprenticeships as one of the main reasons behind the decision to cut the scheme.
According to those in the industry, this is not the case, and he has now written to the Minister for Skills with their concerns in full.
