As Challengers in Farnham celebrates its 45th year of operation, local Farnham and Bordon MP Gregory Stafford joined Chief Executive Gen Dearman and a group of parents to discuss the organisation and general concerns around Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is the second meeting Gregory has joined with parents of SEND children in his constituency since being elected, the first taking place last month in St Andrew's Church.
After his visit to Challengers, Gregory said on social media:
Places like Challengers offer short breaks for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These opportunities are vital, with much needed downtime away from their normal place of residence or school, giving parents and families the comfort knowing that their child is in a safe space.
Gregory has offered Challengers his full support and continues to engage with SEND as an issue in his constituency.
