Strong transport links and well-maintained infrastructure are vital for daily life, economic growth, and the wellbeing of local communities. Gregory has made improving transport one of his top priorities - from local road safety and bus reliability to national rail investment and major infrastructure projects.
He continues to push for better rail access for Whitehill and Bordon, including his long-standing campaign for a bus link to Liphook. In Farnham, Gregory has led a constituency-wide transport survey to capture local views, and he regularly meets with Cabinet Members at both Surrey and Hampshire County Councils to ensure residents’ voices are heard on issues such as congestion, road safety, and infrastructure planning.
Gregory has also worked on a range of local priorities: pressing for improved signage and roadside cleanliness on strategic roads, engaging with Stagecoach to address both specific problems and the wider state of bus infrastructure, and making the case in Westminster for sustained investment in major road schemes. This includes improvements to the A31 at Hickley’s Corner and options for a new bypass to relieve pressure on Wrecclesham and central Farnham.
Across all these areas, Gregory’s focus is on securing practical, long-term solutions that make journeys easier, strengthen local economies, and deliver infrastructure that meets the needs of communities now and in the future.
